and Command. With an industry-leading compact footprint
and superior power efficiency, our Frontier radios deliver robust
performance even in the harshest space environments.
The radios are designed from the ground up for reliable and secure communications
to support any orbit or space environment and have advanced capabilities like ranging
waveforms for radiometric navigation. Frontier radios are compact and lightweight
for easy integration onto any satellite.
With over 13 years of flight heritage, Rocket Lab鈥檚 Frontier Radios
are available in L-, S-, C-, X-, and Ka-band models.

Frontier radios are flight-proven across a range of missions including Rocket Lab鈥檚 Photon
Pathstone, three Rocket Lab Pioneer spacecraft for Varda Space Industries, NASA鈥檚
CAPSTONE, NASA鈥檚 Europa Clipper, NASA鈥檚 Solar Probe Plus, Emirates Mars, and Van
Allen Probes. Rocket Lab鈥檚 Frontier L-band radio will also be used for Viasat to support
their hybrid space communications network demonstrations
for NASA's Communications Services Project.
The Frontier Radio is a 2024 R&D 100 Award winner for its innovations
pushing the boundaries of research and development.
